It had been about a month since we'd taken the rig anywhere, so when I heard that my friend Patrick was coming into town from Memphis for a weekend and visiting Bob and the rest of the McAndrew family in nearby Pflugerville, that sounded like a good excuse for a practice cruise.  So I rolled in the slides, trundled over to Bob's peaceful neighborhood, and parked our house along the curb in front of his.

Patrick and Bob are also engineers, so naturally there was much crawling around looking at all the gizmos inside and outside the rig.

It was great to see the guys and the machine got its monthly exercise, so all in all, a good little outing.
