After so many frantic months of preparations it's hard to believe that Debbie and I will finally climb behind the wheel of our new motorhome 24 hours from now.  We're flying to Portland, Oregon at the crack of dawn tomorrow, to meet with the sellers and start learning the ways of the mighty beast and the nomadic lifestyle it represents.

I've been meaning to get this website up and chronicle of our plans and preparations as they happened, but never quite got around to it -- just too much "real work" to do.  But now that our homes are comfortably on the market and all the other arrangements have settled down, I should be able to get some more of the backstory posted here over the next few weeks.  Note that you can already find a little background info via the links to the left.

Note that the motorhome does not have the planned internet satellite dish installed yet, so we'll be relatively out-of-touch for the next few days.  But check back sometime next week for news about how wonderful our 2000+ mile maiden voyage home was.  Hopefully...
