DEBCAR UPDATE # 11

Published April 21, 2005 / Covering September 19 to November 22, 2004

As mentioned in our February update, we were about to take a quick side trip by air to see The Gates, a massive, temporary public artwork in New York's Central Park, about which you've probably read or seen enough on TV by now to think you know everything you need to know.  But you won't want to miss this story about the whole shebang, written from the unique perspective of a world-traveling can of S & W Black Beans which we had the honor of taking out on a tour of the exhibition.

After enjoying that (or at least pretending to do so, if you can't quite figure out what the heck that's all about) please plow into the meat of this update -- four good old DEBCAR stories -- below:

The Man Eating Weeds of O'Neill Forebay

Escape to the POS

Surfing the World's Widest Wood in Sequoia and Kings Canyon

Yosemite, More Than a Pretty Place

Next up will be stories of our adventures in San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Reno/Lake Tahoe area.  Until then, be sure to wave to the Beans if you see them wandering around your town.
